I used to make lists on paper when I traveled. Now I have a list on Google docs: stop the mail (check), stop the paper (check), order converters (check, except it appears what I really need are adapters), pay bills (not yet), find someone to check on the house and the snake while we're gone (check and oh, yeah, I need to make sure we set up a time to meet with her), refill prescriptions (not yet. Add "doctor's office" to list for phone calls tomorrow. My lists have lists).
Since I'm taking two weeks off for this trip, I can't take any additional time off to prepare and I was on call this weekend. That doesn't leave a whole lot of extra time to get ready. Someone asked me on Friday - seriously - if we were already packed. Hah.
Now I've checked something else off the list: setting up this blog. If I have time, I will adjust the template before we leave, and I may post another update or two as preparations continue. Five days to go!
